Recent ActivityMy name is Miss Hopkins. I have been teaching at Springdale for 8 years. I can't believe it has been that long - the time really does fly when you're having fun!! I taught two years in third grade and am beginning my sixth year in first grade. I am originally from Greenville, SC and my family still lives there. I graduated from the College of Charleston (undergrad) and USC Columbia (graduate). I love teaching-particulary early literacy (reading and writing) which is why I love first grade so much! I have a beautiful, sweet, gray Persian cat named Gracie and enjoy spending time with friends, traveling, watching my most favorite TV shows, reading (James Patterson is my favorite author right now), being outside, working on/around my house, and eating out at restaurants with friends!
I am really looking forward to this school year and meeting my new first grade students! We are going to have so much fun!!!!
